Swatch
Cerca de duas semanas atrás a bateria do meu swatch morreu. Obviamente, fui à loja para comprar uma nova. Para grande espanto meu o funcionário disse-me que não tinha porque estavam esgotadas e estavam à espera que nova remessa chegasse da Suiça. Disse-me também que as pilhas estavam esgotadas em toda a cidade. Incrédulo, resolvi ir a outras lojas e a reposta foi sempre a mesma.Ontem resolvi voltar a uma loja da swatch para ver se tão preciosas baterias já teriam chegado da Suiça. Disseram-me que sim, mudaram-me a pilha do relógio e quando chegou a hora de pagar, disseram-me que não era nada, que as pilhas são grátis!
A couple of weeks ago my swatch battery died. In a swatch store I was told that they'd run out of batteries and they were waiting for a new stock order to arrive from Switzerland! Furthermore, they told me there were no batteries available in the whole city! Obviously, I found this hard to believe and decided to check out a couple more stores. The answer was the same.
Yesterday, I decided to return to a swatch store to find out if such precious batteries had already arrived from Switzerland. Indeed they had, and I requested for one. They swapped the battery in my wristwatch and when I asked them how much I had to pay, they said "nothing, it's for free!"
