I guess that by now everybody knows that I've moved from Riyadh to Dubai. The change was sudden and fast, decided at last minute, pretty much in a rush.
Everything went so fast that even my stop over in Portugal and Europe was short. In the brief 10 days break I had, I had to clear from the customs my boxes that had just arrived from Riyadh, attend a wedding in Germany, and meet, unfortunately, just a few friends.
For those who thought I'd never dare to dress the Saudi tipical custom in Portugal the photos below show otherwise. It was an unforgettable night in "Meninos do Rio", a lovely bar in Lisbon by the river side, in a fresh Summer night. Obviously, this was only possible after I was challanged by two of my wildest friends Filipa Mendia and Mubarak Al-Mazrou.
It was with great nostalgy and remembrance of the past times that I visited Germany. It was great to see once more good and old friends, to have the chance to revisit places that will for ever be engraved in my memory, and simply to remember all the good moments I experienced there. It was for me a great honour and joy to attend Anja and Jochem's wedding, and to be able to meet Joerg and Kerstin once more. Obviously, I could not end this paragraph without saying how much it touched me to be able to meet their parents, and family once more.
Enjoy the photos...
