Brasil - Hotel Pestana Angra dos Reis
Este foi o segundo objectivo das férias de Dezembro no Brasil: descansar numa luxuriante paisagen tropical, à beira-mar, em tranquilo descanso.
O hotel escolhido foi obviamente o Hotel Pestana de Angra pela qualidade que esta cadeia portuguesa de hotéis de cinco estrelas nos habituou. As fotos falam por si e tudo o que puder dizer sobre a qualidade do serviço, o enquadramento paisagistico, ou a beleza natural ficará aquém da verdade.
Foi em Angra que o Bruno e a Chris nos vieram buscar de lancha para nos levar a conhecer a enseada e a Ilha da Trindade. As férias foram óptimas e ficou a vontade de regressar.
The second goal of the holidays in Brasil was to rest in a breath-taking, green, tropical landscape, where nothing or no one could bother you.The hotel chosen was obviously the Pestana Hotel of Angra, an hotel from a 5 star Portuguese Hotel chain which has the most fantastic hotels throughout the world. The quality of the service was excellent, the landscape amazing, and the nature beyond description.It was also in Angra that Bruno and Chris come to get us by boat to tour us around the bay, and the Ilha da Trindade. It was an amazing holidays, and I'll certainly return sooner than later.

Os noivos estavam fantásticos, a festa animada, os convivas bem dispostos e o ambiente geral foi divertidíssimo. Toda a logistica foi excepcionalmente bem planeada. Houve uma escuna que fez várias viagens a terra para vir buscar os convidados, e um serviço permanente de lancha assegurou o transporte de passageiros pela noite adentro.
O ambiente era obviamente muito tropical e muito quente, animado por música que incessantemente nos obrigava a dançar. Excusado será dizer o quanto me diverti. As fotografias falam por si. The photos below were taken in Brasil in Angra dos Rei at the wedding of Bruno and Christianne. Angra dos Reis is a small beach town about 150km south of Rio de Janeiro. It's in a bay and surrounded by an archipelago of over 300 islands. The wedding took place in Ilha da Piedade, property of the aunt of the bright.The bright and groom were absolutely fantastic, the guest were in an excellent mood, the party was great fun, and the general atmosphere was extremely enjoyable. All the logistics was exceptionally well planned. A large boat was arranged to bring the guests to the island, and two smaller ones were available all night long taking people back and forth.The environment was obviously tropical and warm, and the music forced us to dance. No need to say I had great fun over there.Soon, to come more pictures about the remainder of the holidays with some pictures of the exception Pestana Hotel in Angra dos Reis and of the Wonderful City (even though some of you may be thinking of Lisboa, I actually mean Rio de Janeiro :)
Carnaval em Genebra/Carnival in Geneva
No Sábado a seguir à Terça-feira de Carnaval realizou-se no distrito comercial de Genebra o seu carnaval. Basicamente consistiu numa grande parada, onde alegremente marchavam um sem número de foliões que na sua passagem distribuiam doces. Havia música quanto baste e o tempo ajudou.
On the Saturday after Carnival it took place in Geneva downtown the Carnival march. It consisted of a huge number of participants, who dressing colourful and sometimes strange masks distributed candy as they passed by. There was much music and the weather was fine.
